Clover Mites

Adult size: about 1/30th inches

These pest are tiny, smaller than a pinhead. They have been known to invade homes in spring and fall, leaving a red stain if smashed against a surface. They do not bite animals or humans nor transmit disease, though they can be an eye sore when spotted in the home. They suck sap from various plants including grass, trees and shrubs.

That majority of clover mite damage occurs within a few feet of a structure or tree, it will mimic winter kill.
